A delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) attended a round-table conference on the international Communist movement today and tomorrow held by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) in Moscow on December 15-16.

Addressing the event, Chairman of the KPRF Central Committee, Gennady Zyuganov, said representatives from 12 communist party delegations attended the conference to exchange views on the communist movement in each country and the international arena, point out difficulties and hot issues for each communist party and the movement, and find new opinions and measures to develop the movement in each country and the world.

Speaking at the event, Head of the Vietnamese delegation, Nguyen The Ky, who is Deputy Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education, affirmed that the CPV always respects the stance of other communist parties, and hopes to see solidarity between communist parties and working class people for a progressive, equal, democratic and civilised society.

The CPV consistently supports the International Communist and Workers movement in the struggle for common goals of the era, peace, friendship, cooperation and development in the world, and attaches importance to the strengthening relationship with other communist and workers’ parties, Ky added.-VNA
