Philippines: five killed in Cebu house collapse

Five workers were killed and 55 others injured in a four-storey bunkhouse collapse which occurred at dawn on March 6 in the central Philippine city of Cebu.

Hanoi(VNA) – Five workers were killed and 55 others injured in a four-storeybunkhouse collapse which occurred at dawn on March 6 in the central Philippinecity of Cebu.

According to the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation, the number ofdeaths may increase as more people are seriously wounded, and many people havestill got stuck in the collapsed house.

At least 153 workers reportedly spent the night at the bunkhouse which was madeof metal scaffoldings and other construction materials.-VNA
