– A photo exhibition highlighting the Vietnam-Russia friendship kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 1.

It is part of the activities held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7).

The exhibition features 100 photos focusing on three themes, namely the October Revolution in 1917, the Vietnam-Russia friendship and the beloved Russia.

Photos of construction projects built in Vietnam with the help of Russia are also on display, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Vietnam-Soviet Union Cultural Friendship Palace, Tri An and Hoa Binh Hydropower Plants.

Visitors also have a chance to contemplate photos of famous destinations in Russia such as Lenin Mausoleum and Red Square.

The event is expected to raise public awareness about the October Revolution and the Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership for benefits of their people and for the sake of regional and international peace and development.
