Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on November 19 visited a photo exhibition which featured the Vietnam-Russia traditional relations and comprehensive cooperation.

Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev is on an official visit to Vietnam on November 18-19.

The 60-photo exhibition was held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Russian News Agency TASS to mark the 60th anniversary of the relations between the two news agencies, and the upcoming 70th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Party Central Committee member and VNA General Director Nguyen Duc Loi and TASS General Director Sergey Mikhaylov introduced the two Prime Ministers to standout photos on the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation in the past years. All of the photos were taken by VNA and TASS journalists.

After 69 years, the relations with Russia have been fortified and expanded in all sectors.

Particularly, the comprehensive strategic partnership, which was established in 2001, has served as a basis to elevate the bilateral ties to a new height, bringing practical benefits to both peoples and making positive contributions to regional and global peace, stability, prosperity, cooperation and development.-VNA
