Hanoi (VNA) –A photo exhibition themed “Truong Sa Vitality – the Colour of Youth” will beheld in Hanoi, Hung Yen and Lam Dong from March 9 to April 22.

The exhibition is partof the “Truong Sa xanh” (Blue Truong Sa) held by the Ho Chi Minh CommunistYouth Union and the Naval High Command.

It aims to raise theawareness and responsibility of the community, especially youngsters, inprotecting the national sea and island sovereignty as well as managing andusing maritime resources in an effective and sustainable manner.

This is also a chanceto mobilise resources for the programme and raise funds for the application ofscience and technology in Truong Sa to ease difficulties for soldiers in DK1platform, including producing water filter machines to turn seawater intodrinkable water.

More than 150 photoswill be introduced during the exhibition, showing the daily life of islandersand soldiers in Truong Sa, especially DK1 platform, as well as voluntaryactivities of the youth in the areas.

A number of mapsaffirming the national sovereignty over Truong Sa archipelago, along with numerousdocuments showing the country’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa archipelago will bealso on display.-VNA
