PM approves project to increase use of e-documents

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a project to archive electronic documents of State-run agencies from 2020-2025.
Hanoi (VNA) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a project to archive electronic documents of State-runagencies from 2020-2025.

The project aims to makeit easier for people and businesses to access and use the archives of Stateagencies.

It will also improve thesystem of legal and professional guidance documents stored in electronicarchives, and ensure at least 80 percent of the documents stored at State agenciesare created online in accordance with the law on e-transactions and e-archiving.

The Government leaderassigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to supervise the implementation of theproject and make annual reports to the Prime Minister.

He tasked the ministry withsubmitting reports to the National Assembly for amendments and supplementsto the Law on Archives to meet the requirements of e-archive management due to be completed in 2021./.

UNFPA, KOICA pledge continued support to Vietnam to eliminate gender-based violence
