The voters highlighted the Government andPM’s efforts in governing the country to obtain a high economic growthrate, further improvement in people’s living conditions and theincreasing position of the country on the international arena.

They also proposed the Government pay more attention to people’s dailylife, particularly low-income earners who are under financial pressureafter recent price hikes.

The Government shouldcontinue speeding up administrative reform, anti-corruption, improvingthe efficiency and effectiveness of the State apparatus, and helping HaiPhong accelerate infrastructural construction, particularly Hai Phong’ssea port and terminal system and the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway, theysaid.

PM Dung took the occasion to brief voters on theresults of the ninth session of the 12 th NA and the implementation ofsocio-economic development targets of the past term.

The Government, ministries, branches and local authorities have exertedefforts in socio-economic management, with priorities given to curbinflation, stabilise the macro-economy, ensure social welfare andmaintain a logical growth rate, he said.

He affirmedthat the Government always attaches importance to administrative reform,anti-corruption and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of theadministrative apparatus.

The PM also said theGovernment has instructed ministries and branches to activelycollaborate with localities to synchronously build and modernise HaiPhong’s sea port system, devise the Yen Lang international airportscheme, upgrade the Hanoi-Hai Phong railway and speed up theconstruction pace of urgent traffic routes, especially the Hanoi-HaiPhong expressway, which will be operational soon.

Thesame day, PM Dung visited the Vietnam-Singapore economic zone whichwas zoned off for an urban, industrial and service area on 1,600ha./.
