While highly evaluating the youngsters’ products, ideas and startups, the PM held that these are useful to the society and country with practical and applicable values and that entering a university is not the only way to success, while disability cannot prevent a person from obtaining outstanding achievements in all fields.

The PM urged the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Fund for Vietnamese Young Talents to continue proposing specific measures to honour and support young talents.

The Government leader also requested ministries, agencies and localities, especially the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, to pay more attention to young talents and help them further develop careers and make greater contributions to the country.

First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Le Quoc Phong said that since the award was launched 21 years ago, 220 young talents have been honoured in various categories, including study, scientific research, creativity, business and management, security and order, defence, culture and art, sports and social activities.
