Park Hang-seo nominated for Best Coach in AFF Awards 2019

After impressive performances with the national teams, Vietnam’s head coach Park Hang-seo has been nominated for the Best Coach title of the AFF Awards 2019.

Hanoi (VNA) – After impressive performances with the national teams, Vietnam’shead coach Park Hang-seo has been nominated for the Best Coach title of the AFFAwards 2019.

Thebiennial ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Awards Night 2019 will be held in Hanoifor the first time on November 8.

TheKorean coach has led Vietnam to a number of achievements, such as the firstrunners-up of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship 2018, thefourth place at ASIAD 2018, and the winners of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

JoiningPark on the prestigious list are five other coaches from the ASEAN region.

Meanwhile,striker Nguyen Quang Hai of Hanoi FC has been nominated for the Best PlayerAward, while defender Doan Van Hau of SC Heerenveen, both are national teammembers, has been nominated for the title of Best Young Player in the region.Hau won this award two years ago.

Forstriker Nguyen Anh Duc, his goal against Malaysia in the second leg finalof the AFF Cup 2018 is voted as the best goal of the event./.
