The visits are made at the invitation of Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, the President of the European Commission (EC), Manuel Barroso, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
He will later attend the 10 th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 10), in Milan, Italy, on October 16-17, at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, and visit the Vatican on October 18, as guest of Pope Francis.-VNA
