Nghi confirmed this at a meeting of the municipal Party Committee, thePeople’s Council and the People’s Committee and leaders of 29 districtsand townships on Mar. 31, adding that there was no approval at anyauthorised level for this project.

He asked the municipal Department for Culture, Sports and Tourism tolearn from this mistake.

Earlier, on Mar. 22, the Department for Culture, Sports and Tourism helda press briefing to introduce the project of a time capsule, whichwould comprise 1,000 objects selected from all cities and provincesnationwide, to celebrate the millennium anniversary of the capitalcity./.

Two wanted for abusing religious cover to undermine national unity policy

The fugitives are Di (also known as Siu Di), born in 1941, and Dinh Yum (also known as Dinh Jum or Ba Koih), born in 1963, from Ba Na ethnic minority group in Gia Lai province, and hold Vietnamese nationality. They have been charged under Clause 1, Article 116 of the Penal Code for undermining the national unity policy.

Support delivered to Khmer households for traditional New Year
