Reference exchange rate adjusted up slightly on August 14

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,260 VND/USD on August 14, up 4 VND from the previous session.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,260 VND/USD on August 14, up 4 VND from the previous session.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,473 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,047 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates were unchanged from August 13 morning.

At 8:30 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the rates at 24,950 VND/USD (buying) and 25,290 VND/USD (selling)./.

The strategy targets annual industry growth of 12-14% by 2030, with processed liquid milk output reaching 4.2 billion litres annually.
