Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,251 VND/USD on November 29, down 20 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,464 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,038 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.
At 8:31 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,160 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,463 VND/USD, down 15 VND and 21 VND respectively from November 28.
Meanwhile, BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,163 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,463 VND/USD, both down 21 VND./.
