Reference exchange rate down 6 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,471 VND/USD on the morning of October 31, down by 6 VND from the day ago.

With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,138 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,790 VND per USD.
Major commercial banks kept their rates stable.
Vietcombank and BIDV set 22,685 VND (buying) and 22,755 VND (selling) per USD, up 5 VND from October 30 afternoon.
Vietinbank listed its buying rate at 22,600 VND and selling rate at 22,750 VND per USD, unchanged from the previous day.-VNA
