Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,186 VND/USD on September 24, down 3 VND from September 23 morning.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,445 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,927 VND/USD.
At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw mixed changes.
Vietcombank raised the buying and selling rates at 26,225 and 26,445 VND/USD, respectively, both dropping 3 VND.
Meanwhile, BIDV raised the buying rate by 7 VND to 26,235 VND/USD but cut the selling rate by 3 VND to 26,445 VND/USD./.
Reference exchange rate rises slightly at week’s beginning
