Reference exchange rate goes up 2 VND on October 23

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on October 23 at 22,719 VND per USD, up 2 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on October 23 at 22,719 VND per USD, up 2 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,400 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,038 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed stable compared to October 22.

Vietcombank offered the buying rate at 23,300 VND per USD and the selling rate at 23,390 VND per USD, unchanged from October 23.

BIDV kept its both rates unchanged from the previous day, listing its buying rate at 23,300 VND per USD and selling rate 23,390 VND per USD.

At Techcombank, the greenback is being bought at 23,280 VND and sold at 23,390 VND per USD, unchanged from the previous day. -VNA
