Quang Ninh's mega concerts to drive tourism boom

A major highlight will come on April 11 with a free public concert at October 30 Square in Ha Long Ward, marking the opening of the 17th National Radio Festival – Quang Ninh 2026. Organisers are bracing for a massive turnout of up to 50,000 spectators.

Yen Tu Festival 2025 kicks off in Quang Ninh province

With its role as a bridge linking the past, present and future, the Yen Tu Festival 2025 features a range of activities, highlighted by an exhibition presenting artefacts, ancient documents and modern 3D digital materials related to the Truc Lam Zen Sect.

Quang Ninh Museum unlocks colonial-era French archives for research and tourism

The archives consist of administrative records, maps, and technical drawings from 1911–1955 left by French coal companies, along with images capturing coal mining, colonial architecture, miners’ lives, and the local community. These materials not only carry historical value but also offer vivid insights into Quang Ninh’s socio-economic landscape before 1955.

Vietnam to manage first inter-provincial world heritage site: experts

The experts of the World Heritage Centre (WHC) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) have completed their Reactive Monitoring Mission, assessing the conservation efforts and the promotion of the Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Archipelago in the northern province of Quang Ninh and the neighbouring city of Hai Phong.
