The final round of the Vietnam Robot Contest (Robocon) 2010, the ninth of its kind, began in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 11.
Organised by the Vietnam Television, the Robocon 2010 final round drew 34 teams selected from 251 squads of universities, colleges and technical secondary schools across the country.
The teams will compete in three rounds. The winner will represent Vietnam at the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest scheduled to take place in Cairo , Egypt , in September this year.
Also on May 11, the Vietnam Television opened an exhibition “Robocon Tech-show”, displaying hi-tech products made by students, including robots that are able to operate in different fields./.
