60 disadvantaged children suffering from congenital heart defects will fly to the Republic of Korea (RoK) for free heart surgery assisted by Sunny Korea – from the RoK.
This is part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Vietnam Children’s Fund and Sunny Korea, a non-governmental organisation that operates in the fields of healthcare and education.
Under the MoU, the organisation will donate 720,000 USD to support the children for a three-year period, starting from 2010.
