Thanks to planting roses, many people living by Langbiang Mountain in Lac Duong town, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province have been provided with a stable income – some even going on to become millionaires.
Lac Duong town has some 200 households which have shifted from farming vegetables, strawberries, and coffee to planting roses using high-tech tools.
Thanks to the suitable environment and soil, the roses in the area are bigger and more beautiful than others, making them a preferred choice for many people.
The flowers are delivered to Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as other central provinces.
With a high income from roses, many households in the locality have become millionaires. It is a positive sign for those living by Langbiang Mountain as the area and local people continue to blossom.-VNA
