Sa Pa hosting biggest rose festival in northwestern region
The biggest rose festival in the northwestern region is underway from April 27 to May 30 at Vietnam’s largest rose valley in Sa Pa town, a major tourist destination in Lao Cai province.
The festival is expected to offer exciting experiences to tourists visiting Sa Pa, as it opens a series of activities to celebrate the summer, and the 120th founding anniversary of the resort town.
The rose valley has an area of up to 50,000 square metres, and consists of more than 300,000 roses crossbred from over 150 varieties in Sa Pa and around the world.
The festival will feature a rose parade, a flower procession to Buddha at the peak of Mt Fansipan, fashion shows, and art performances, among others./.
