HCMCity (VNA) – The second International Student Science Forum (ISSF) tookplace in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22, focusing on the Industrial Revolution 4.0and smart city development.

Thethree-day forum attracts the participation of 108 students from 10 countries.

Theyare set to present opinions on the role of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 inglobal development and smart city models and solutions.

Smartcity services and citizens’ roles are also part of the discussion.

Addressingthe opening ceremony, Nguyen Duc Nghia, Vice President of the Viet Nam NationalUniversity Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), said the southern city is leading Vietnamin innovations for sustainable development and integration.

Theforum helps Vietnamese students exchange views and learn from theirinternational peers, he added.

Onthe sidelines of the forum, international students will visit the Ho Chi MinhCity high-tech industrial park and take part in exchange activities withstudents from the VNUHCM.-VNA
