Hanoi Cathedral (official name: St. Joseph's Cathedral) is the cathedral of Hanoi Archdiocese. This place holds religious activities of parishioners in Hanoi Archdiocese. The church was built in the medieval European Gothic architecture style. The main building materials of the church are terracotta bricks and walls plastered with mulch papers.

The cathedral is 64.5m in length, 20.5m in width with two bell towers of 31.5m-height along with large and heavy stone pillars placed in four corners. From Hoan Kiem Lake to the West, visitors can easily recognize the old façade of the church from afar.

National Museum of History (built on the foundation of Louis Finot Museum of Oriental Arts that once belonged to The French School of the Far East) Designed by architects C.Batteur and E. Hébrard in 1925, Hanoi’s National Museum of History can be considered a great representative of Indochinese architectural style./.
