Following the Prime Minister’s order on October 29, the Electricity of Vietnam has so far restored the supply of electricity to the provinces affected by the storm, including central Thanh Hoa province and the northern coastal provinces of Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh and Hai Phong city.
The Vietnam Post and Telecommunications, the military-run telecoms group Viettel and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Area were also requested to promptly restore the network of communications in these affected localities.
