Special watches mark capital’s anniversary

Two world-renowned watch trademarks of Switzerland and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have produced two special replicas of Candino and Romanson to mark the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

As many as 1,000 Candino replica watches and 1,000 other Romansonreplica watches have been made to match the capital city’s age.

Addressing the press conference in Hanoi on August 30, Director BuiTuan Minh of the Hai Minh Import-Export Company, the two trademark’ssole distributor, said that the position of number 12 in these watchesis replaced with the golden “Khue Van Cac” symbol and the words“Anniversary of 1,000 years Thang Long-Hanoi” are carved under thewatch’s axis.

At present, Candino and Romanson brandwatches are being sold in Hanoi , HCM City , the northern city ofHai Phong , the northern provinces of Lang Son, Bac Ninh, the centralcities of Hue and Da Nang , the central coastal city of Nha Trangand the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau./.

HCM City tackles fishing violations at roots

As of December 9, all of the 4,475 fishing vessels in HCM City had registered and updated in the VNFishbase database, of them 4,268 licensed. The remainder, classified as ineligible, are strictly monitored and kept moored locally, with no permission to put to sea.
