Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened its 11th meeting in Hanoi on June 2 to discuss issues to be added to the agenda of the parliament’s ongoing third session.
Under the chair of NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the committee gave opinions about the approval of the proposed appointment of two justices in the Supreme People’s Court, and the eastern North-South expressway project.
Both issues were raised prior to the opening of the NA’s third session.
However, as they need more time to be prepared, particularly in terms of personnel work, the Standing Committee delayed the issues until this 11th meeting for further discussion before suggesting the parliament include them in the third session’s agenda.-VNA
