State President receives former Soviet military expert

Former Soviet’s military assistance to Vietnam during the war is a symbol of friendship between Vietnam and the former Soviet Union including Kazakhstan, State President Truong Tan Sang told Tadiyev Flyur, former Soviet military expert, in Hanoi on July 10.

Tadiyev Flyur trained many Vietnamese pilots during the war. His workreceived praises from both Vietnamese and the then Soviet militaryleaders. Upon return to his homeland in Kazakhstan as LieutenantColonel, he continued to do his positive part to the friendship betweenthe two countries.

The guest expressed his pleasureat Vietnam’s rapid development and thanked Vietnamese government forarranging his visit to Vietnam, where he spent young days with hisfellows.-VNA
