Streets of Hanoi to embellish to welcome the 31st SEA Games

In the bustling and bustling atmosphere everywhere in Hanoi, many streets have been decorated with posters and banners with eye-catching colors and varied sizes.

There is only nearly a week left that the 31st SEA Games officially opens. In the bustling and bustling atmosphere everywhere in Hanoi, many streets have been decorated with posters and banners with eye-catching colors and varied sizes.

Specifically, in order to promote promotional images for the 31st SEA Games, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism arranged to hang 2.000 vertical banners, and installed clusters of 2-sided, 3-sided and 4-sided panels at the big road dividers, main streets and central areas. The media products of this year’s SEA Games are mainly printed with the symbols of the sports, the Sao La mascot, and the flying bird logo – V-shaped hand and the slogan.

As the largest sporting event in the region, besides its important meanings in politics, diplomacy, culture, sports and economy, the 31st SEA Games is also considered as the golden opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends, thereby promoting and revitalizing the country's tourism industryafter two years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 31st SEA Games takes place from May 12th to 23rd 2022 and features 40 sports with 526 events taking place in 12 provinces and cities across the country. In particular, Hanoi is chosen as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies. This is the second SEA Games that Vietnam has hosted, after the first time in 2003./.
