Strengthening Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership

For 74 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Vietnam and China have provided each other with significant and valuable support and assistance, following the motto of “friendly neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, looking toward the future” and the spirit of being “good neighbours, good friends, good comrades, good partners.” Notably, in December 2023, the two countries issued a joint statement on further deepening and advancing their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building a Vietnam-China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
