Nearly 880,000 students nationwide started the three-day national high school examination 2019 on June 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – Nearly 880,000 students nationwidestarted the three-day national high school examination 2019 on June 25.

In the morning of the first day, they will sit for a 120-minute Vietnamese literature andlanguage tests.

In the afternoon,they will do mathematics test within 90 minutes.

There will be atotal of five tests, which are literature, math, foreign language, naturalscience subject group and social science subject group.

According to the National Steering Committee for NationalHigh School Examination 2019, over 99 percent of the contestants on June 24 cameto the exam venues to make necessary procedures for the exam.

Since 2015, highschool graduation and university entrance exams have been integrated into onenational exam.

Prior to theexam, localities across the nation have applied various measures to ensure bestconditions for the students as well as security for the exam, from which theresults will be used for both high school graduation and university entranceconsideration.-VNA
