Summer camp for OV youths kicks off

More than 50 young people, including almost 40 overseas Vietnamese from different nations throughout the world, such as Cambodia, the UK, Belgium, Germany, the US and Russia, have participated in the four-day camp, which is jointly organised by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese and the municipal Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Committee.

The participants are scheduled to visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi and Hung Kings Temple in the northern midland province of Phu Tho .

They will also pay calls at a number of localities and join social activities in HCM City and the Mekong provinces of Tien Giang and Ben Tre.

The summer camp is held annually to enhance the connectivity between the Vietnamese youths at home and abroad, educate the patriotism and cultural tradition among young overseas Vietnamese, and encourage them contribute to the homeland./.
