Bangkok (VNA) – Vietnamese swimmers brought home four additional gold medals on January 21 at the ongoing 13th ASEAN Para Games in Thailand.
After a gold grabbed by Vo Huynh Anh Khoa in the men’s 400m freestyle S8 event, Nguyen Van Hanh secured gold in the men’s 100m breaststroke SB11. Clocking 1 minutes 22.74 seconds, Hanh not only took the first place but also showcased remarkable composure and consistency throughout the race.
Another gold was got by Trinh Thi Bich Nhu in the women’s 100m breaststroke SB4–5. Maintaining steady performance and strong endurance, she finished first with a time of 2:02.03.
The momentum remained firmly with the Vietnamese team as Vi Thi Hang claimed a gold medal in the women’s 100m freestyle S7 event, with a time of 1:20.68.
The golden streak continued with Le Thi Dung, who added the fifth gold medal after winning the women’s 100m freestyle S8. She touched the finish line in 1:21.25, extending Vietnam’s impressive run in the pool./.

Swimming star Vo Huynh Anh Khoa delivered a breakthrough by winning the Vietnamese delegation’s first gold medal in the men’s 400m freestyle S8 final.
