On January 16, President Donald Trump sent a letter to Party General Secretary To Lam, inviting the Party chief and Vietnam to participate in the Gaza Peace Council as a founding member state, alongside the international community, to promote a sustainable peaceful solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine in the Gaza Strip.
Chairman of the Israel-Vietnam Friendship Association and former Deputy Ambassador of Israel to Vietnam Eyal Buvilski said that the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam represents both a reflection on past achievements, and a clear forward-looking vision defining national goals and priorities for the years ahead.

In a congratulatory letter sent to the CPV Central Committee, James Kember, former New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam during 2006–2009 and currently Chair of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA), conveyed his best wishes to the Party leadership.
For Vietnam, the treaty opens favourable avenues to expand international partnerships, access cutting-edge knowledge, data, and technologies, and build stronger domestic capabilities in marine science, ocean governance, and environmental protection. It also presents Vietnamese researchers with meaningful opportunities to join global research activities and benefit from marine genetic resources in international waters and the deep seabed, ultimately supporting the emergence of a modern, innovation-led ocean economy, said Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu.
President of the Presidential Council of Libya Muhammad Al-Menfi said that Libya wishes to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in economics, trade, investment, and energy, particularly a desire seeking Vietnam's support and sharing of experience in national reconstruction.

Standing Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa province Nguyen Hong Phong said immediately after the Party Central Committee released its draft documents, the provincial Party Committee’s standing board promptly directed in-depth study and review, while convening extensive consultations across Party committees, organisations, agencies, units, and localities. Discussions proceeded in a democratic and scientific spirit, closely tied to the practical development needs of both the province and the country, effectively harnessing collective wisdom and the strong sense of responsibility among officials and Party members.
Within this overall framework, Bac Ninh has clearly identified its goal of becoming a centrally governed city as a process of comprehensive upgrading, not only in terms of administrative status, but also in its development model, governance capacity and quality of life for its people.
Politburo member Nguyen Van Nen, who is also a standing member of the subcommittee responsible for drafting the Congress documents, said one of the most important and breakthrough innovations in document crafting is the early rollout of new policy decisions and strategies before the Congress convenes. These have been tested in practice and refined through lessons drawn from 40 years of Doi Moi (renewal), before being distilled and embedded into the draft documents for consideration and adoption at the landmark gathering.
Building Lang Son into a regional growth pole is a core objective of the 18th provincial Party Congress’s resolution and reflects the aspiration and determination of the provincial Party organisation, authorities and people of all local ethnic groups, said Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Lang Son provincial Party Committee.
The Party has not only played a central role in shaping political and economic directions but has also been a key factor in ensuring social stability and strengthening the great national unity, said President of the Argentina-Vietnam Culture Institute (ICAV) Poldi Sosa.
The diplomatic and economic efforts by Vietnam have increased Vietnamese export competitiveness, helped improve infrastructure and logistics, proven Vietnam’s ability to attract global firms, and demonstrated agile diplomacy, said Piper Campbell, inaugural chair of the Department of Foreign Policy and Global Security at American University’s School of International Service.

The 14th National Party Congress will continue to elevate culture as the spiritual foundation of society, an intrinsic driver of sustainable development, and an important source of national soft power, contributing to a modern, deeply integrated yet culturally rich and humane Vietnam.
The 14th National Party Congress will be a success and future policies will continue to prioritise social welfare, with stronger investment in health care and education, moving gradually towards free medical services and education to ensure equitable access to development gains, said Nguyen Dinh Ngo, 90, from Hue city.
