“Banh trang phoi suong” (dew-wetted rice paper), a specialty of southern Tay Ninh province will be offered at the event (Source: internet) Tay Ninh (VNA) – The southernprovince of Tay Ninh will promote its unique culture, investment, trade, andtourism advantages in the capital city of Hanoi through an event named “TayNinh Day in Hanoi” on September 27-28.
The information was revealed by Director of theprovincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Hong Thanh at apress conference on September 19.
He said the event will be co-organised by thePeople Committees of Hanoi and Tay Ninh, and the national flag carrier VietnamAirlines as part of the activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Hanoi’sLiberation Day (October 10).
A photo exhibition on Tay Ninh’s socio-economicand cultural achievements, natural landscapes, historical sites, traditionalcraft villages and festivals will be held at the event.
The province will set up 30 pavilions offeringlocal food specialties as well as perform songs and dances which have beenrecognised as intangible cultural heritage./.
