Young Vietnamese tennis star Ly Hoang Nam won the title at both the boy’s single and double events of the Asian Closed Junior Championship 2015 in India.
Nam, seeded No 1 in both singles and doubles events, defeated his Japanese rival R.Tokuda in the final game of the single event on April 18.
One day earlier, Nam, in a pair with Alberto Lim of the Philippines, defeated Japanese duo Sora Fukuda and Renta Tokuda 6-3, 6-2.
This is the second consecutive time he claimed a title at a junior tournament. The first was at the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Cup in Malaysia last month.-VNA
