The Economics University under the Vietnam National University and the Thailand ’s Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in business administration training.
Under the MoU, students from the Vietnamese university will be able to study at the AIT’s School of Management for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The first 35 students will leave for the AIT in August under the joint programme.
Addressing the signing ceremony late last week, Rector of the Economics University Phung Xuan Nha stressed that the agreement is in accordance with the vision of cooperation mapped out for the Asian region, especially among ASEAN’s member countries and that the two sides will continue to boost their relations through specific programmes.
Vietnam is the AIT’s most important partner and the first choice for the institute when it expands operation, said Said Irandouts, the AIT’s director, adding that the institute will consider opening a training centre in Vietnam./.
