Thanh Hoa develops fishery logistics fleet

The People’s Committee of the north central province of Thanh Hoa has decided to provide support worth over 7.5 billion VND (328,500 USD) for owners of local fishery logistic-service vessels.

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – The People’s Committee of the north central province ofThanh Hoa has decided to provide support worth over 7.5 billion VND (328,500USD) for owners of local fishery logistic-service vessels.

This is the fourthaid package the locality has offered to encourage logistics vessels to gooffshore and buy seafood in a bid to help offshore fishing vessels save traveltime and costs.

The eligible ships,with capacity of over 400 CV, will receive an aid of 40 million VND (1,752 USD)for each trip.

Some 50 ships fromTinh Gia district, one from Quang Xuong district, and 19 from Sam Son town arequalified for the aid. They have made 183 offshore tours to buy caught fish.

Currently, thelocality has over 140 logistics vessels, which still fall short of the demandof the local offshore fishing fleet.-VNA

Ho Chi Minh City targets third-quarter growth of over 11%

Domestic consumption up over 13%, tourism continues strong growth

The total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenues in August were estimated at 679.8 trillion VND (26 billion USD), up 1.6% from the previous month and 14.9% year-on-year. In the January-August period, the figure reached 5.24 quadrillion VND, representing a 13.3% increase year-on-year.

Hanoi moves to maintain appeal to FDI inflows

In the first eight months of 2026, the capital city attracted more than 3.7 billion USD in FDI, equivalent to 83% of the plan set for the year.
