The class of “quan Lang” were rulers of the Muong region in former Hoa Binh province (now part of Phu Tho province) during the feudal era in Vietnam. In the struggle for national liberation, many of them had abandoned their privileged lives to follow and contribute to the revolution. Among the most notable was the Dinh Cong family, one of the four great Lang lineages (Dinh, Quach, Bach, Ha).
