The season of Kapok flowers

Kapok flowers bloom in late Spring, usually in March, the moment the winter is about to pass, giving way to the first sunshine of Summer. For a long time, the image of Kapok trees with fiery red flowers has been linked with a peaceful scenery, and become the soul of every village in the Northern Vietnam. The tree is also important part of the memories of those who have to live far from their home.
