Third German film festival opens in Da Nang

After the overwhelming success of the German Film Festival 2010 and 2011, the event continues in 2012. On September 13, the screening of the hottest new films from Germany began in the central city of Da Nang .
After the overwhelming success of the German Film Festival 2010 and2011, the event continues in 2012. On September 13, the screening of thehottest new films from Germany began in the central city of Da Nang.

The films, including Promising the Moon,Lessons of a Dream, When We Leave, Three Fourths Moon, Beat Being Dead,Summer Window, Men in the City 2, Soul Kitchen, highlight familyaffection, love and passion, friendship and responsibility.

Stories told in these films are dramatic, humorous, sad, and fantastic, and sometimes all of these at once.

The festival takes places in Hanoi , Hai Phong, Hue , Da Nang ,Ho Chi Minh City and for the first time in Nha Trang from Sept. 6 toOct. 8.

Along with enjoying the films, audiencesalso have a chance to win amazing prizes while taking film quiz whosequestions are about the films which are screened at the festival.-VNA

2025 Vietnam Culture Festival held in Osaka

Visitors enjoy Thai environment, lifestyle at Hanoi festival

At the Thai Festival, from March 28 night to March 30 morning in Hanoi, visitors explored typical Thai dishes, along with health care and beauty care products and traditional handicrafts. They also enjoyed traditional dances from many regions of Thailand, tried making Khanom Krok coconut cakes and painting patterns on silk, among other activities.
