Three new species have been found at the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Parkin the central province of Quang Binh, according to the park’smanagement board.
This is the result of surveys conducted by Vietnam’s National Instituteof Ecology and Natural Resources, the Paris National Museum of NaturalHistory, the Sinica Institute (Taiwan-China), the Swedish Royal Museumof Natural History.
The finding includes a new species ofscorpion (Vietbocap canhi sp.n), a new species of begonia (BegoniaVietnamensis) and limestone tailorbird (phylloscopus calciatilis)./.
