The Thua Thien-Hue province plans to revert the whole complex of Dai Noi ( Imperial City ) to the original state by 2020.
The restoration is part of a project to preserve and develop the value of the former imperial city of Hue following a Prime Minister decision.
Between now and 2012, the province will conduct survey on the state of the relic and mark out the preservation area.
From 2013-2017, the province will focus on rehabilitating fine arts and architectural structures, improving natural landscapes and upgrading infrastructures in the complex.
Additionally, it will continue to carry out scientific researches, boost international cooperation and personnel training to preserve and develop tangible and intangible cultural values.
From 2018-2020, the province plans to complete the restoration of ruined relics and major projects in the complex./.
