Tomb of Kinh Duong Vuong-a spiritual place attracts a lots of tourists

The relics of Temple and Royal Tomb of Kinh Duong Vuong affirms that Bac Ninh is an ancient land where Vietnamese people lived together from thousand years ago.

Located in A Lu village, Dai Dong Thanh commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, the relics of Temple and Royal Tomb of Kinh Duong Vuong is dedicated to the worship of King Hung's grandfather - the ancestor of the Vietnamese people.

The tomb of Kinh Duong Vuong is located outside the dyke, about 500m away from the Duong River. Nowaday, the tomb is covered in the green color of old trees, casting a tranquil and solemn atmosphere over the whole area. But it was barbarically devastated in the French colonial period.

It was not until 1971, A Lu villagers could plan and embellish the tomb of Kinh Duong Vuong to have a more spacious and airy place of worship, however it still retains full of imprints of ancient architecture.
