The longest swimming pool in Vietnam (FLC Grand Hotel Quy Nhon)

The outdoor swimming pool with a record length of nearly 1km running along the front side of FLC Grand Hotel Quy Nhon produces views on a vast water surface, giving the feeling that the blue sea is just a few steps away.

The swimming pool is scheduled to be put into service at the end of this year.

FLC Grand Hotel Quy Nhon is the second hotel complex within FLC Quy Nhon in Quy Nhon city in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh.

With a capacity of more than 1,500 rooms which can accommodate up to 3,500 guests, FLC Grand Hotel Quy Nhon is one of the largest 5-star hotels in Vietnam.

With a unique design imitating the shape of a giant DNA string that winds along Nhon Ly beach, FLC Grand Hotel Quy Nhon possesses four 11-storey hotel buildings. These represent the four iconic attractions in Quy Nhon, namely Cu Lao Xanh, Eo Gio, Cham and Ky Co.

The project was designed by world-leading architecture firm  Baumschlager Eberle Architekten (BE) to create a luxury resort that maximises harmony with the ecological characteristics of the south-central coastal area, and that is able to preserve the cultural identity of the locality.

Apart from the swimming pool, the hotel possesses other high-end facilities like children’s playground, a water park, restaurants, and a large number of bars varying in style.

Infinity swimming pool in Topas Ecolodge – Sapa

Located at Topas Ecolodge resort in Sa Pa town, the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, the infinity swimming pool is said to be among the best in the northwest Vietnam.

It is heated and salty in a fresh green space in the resort and looks down upon the valley with majestic mountains and colourful villages.

The pool has a dedicated section for kids, massage-jet function and incredible view of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Positioned above the main lodge buildings, the pool has a bar and is steps away from the resort’s spa.

National Geographic recently listed Topas Ecolodge No 1 in its list of 21 places to stay if you care about the planet.

Topas Ecolodge is situated on a beautiful hilltop deep in the mountains of Hoang Lien National Park, 45 minutes from Sa Pa town. 

Largest saltwater swimming pool in Vietnam (FLC Sam Son)

The swimming pool is part of the FLC Samson Beach and Golf Resort, invested by FLC Group, in the central province of Thanh Hoa.

The complex, spread over 200 hectares, was built at a cost of more than 5.5 trillion VND (more than 250 million USD).

The development includes a 1,300-seat convention centre, an 18-hole golf course, the five-star Fusion Resort Samson Hotel with nearly 100 rooms, the four-star La Carte Samson Hotel with 600 rooms and bungalows, and more than 1,000 villas.

The resort has a special location near Sam Son Beach and next to the Ma River.

It also has set a record as the complex with the largest number of swimming pools in Vietnam, at 152, including the 5,100sq.m saltwater swimming pool.
