Top legislator offers incense at Nga Ba Giong National Historical Site in Ho Chi Minh City

Nga Ba Giong is associated with heroic chapters of Vietnam’s revolutionary history. The site currently displays documents, artefacts and images relating to the 1940 Southern Uprising. It was also one of three execution grounds established by French colonialists in Hoc Mon in 1941.

Ho Chi Minh City (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on March 4 offered flowers and incense at the Nga Ba Giong National Historical Site in Ba Diem commune, Ho Chi Minh City.

The delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, former leaders of the Party and State, and residents and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national liberation and reunification.

Nga Ba Giong is associated with heroic chapters of Vietnam’s revolutionary history. The site currently displays documents, artefacts and images relating to the 1940 Southern Uprising. It was also one of three execution grounds established by French colonialists in Hoc Mon in 1941. At this site, the colonial administration executed many revolutionaries, including General Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party Nguyen Van Cu, and Phan Dang Luu, a member of the Standing Board of the Indochinese Communist Party Central Committee, along with numerous patriots who took part in the uprising.

On the same morning, Chairman Man visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Huynh Thi Se in Ba Diem commune.

Expressing profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices and losses endured by her family during the struggle for national liberation and reunification, the top legislator affirmed that the Party, State and people always value and remember the contributions of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, families of fallen soldiers and those who rendered service to the revolution.

He also underscored the responsibility of authorities at all levels to better care for policy beneficiaries, both materially and spiritually./.

Hanoi: 95% of administrative procedures to be handled from home

The plan targets that at least 80% of administrative procedures under the city’s authority will be provided as fully online public services, while more than 95% of applications will be received and processed entirely online. By June 30, 2026, about 80% of administrative procedures are expected to be restructured based on integrated data systems, with the figure rising to 95% by the end of the year.
