Middle East tensions disrupt several Vietnam flights

The CAAV said it is closely monitoring the situation and updating information on flight operations affected by developments in the Middle East.

Hanoi (VNA) – Several international flights to and from Vietnam have been cancelled or affected as of noon on March 2 due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

Qatar Airways cancelled two passenger flights, QR983 and QR977, and one cargo flight, QR8952/8953, scheduled for March 2.

Emirates also cancelled Flight EK395 on the same day. However, there has been no confirmation of cancellation for another EK395 flight scheduled at 00:25 on March 3.

Etihad Airways cancelled Flight EY433.

Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines continued normal operations for both passenger and cargo services on March 2. Passenger flights TK164 and TK165 were scheduled to depart at 15:25 and 22:55, respectively. Cargo flights TK6269 and TK6233 were set for departure at 13:30 and 18:55, respectively.
