Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi National University (HNU) andthe Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) have found a place in theWorld University Rankings by Subject 2020 compiled by British education companyQuacquarelli Symonds (QS).
Accordingly, the VNU hasthree academic disciplines ranked by the QS, namely mathematics, physics and astronomy,and Computer Science & Information Systems.
Among them, Computer Science & Information Systems was among the 501st - 550th group.
Meanwhile, the HUST has three subjects in the top 500, comprisingelectrical and electronic engineering, mechanics, and computer science and informationsystems.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject isbased on four indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, researchcitations per paper and H-index, with weightings adapted for each academicdiscipline./.
