Based on theresearch, current policies, programmes and mechanisms will be reviewedto promote education and learning in the country, Marin told DeputyPrime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan in a meeting at the Government Officeon July 13.
For his part, Nhan highlyappreciated the support UNESCO and UNESCO Institute for LifelongLearning provided to Vietnam and stressed that lifelong learningplays a key role in the country’s socio-economic development.
“ Vietnam is moving towards a knowledge-based economy,so all people should be provided with chances of learning to raise theirexpertise,” Nhan said./.
