The 43rd Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Contest kicked off in Hanoi on October 9, with the theme “Write a letter about how music can touch lives”.
The international contest opens every year for students from 10-15 years old.
It aims at improving children’s knowledge about global social issues, the solidarity and friendship between nations, as well as developing their writing skills and awareness of the important role postal services play in society.
The original version and translation into English or French of the best letter in Vietnam will be sent for global contest.
