US, Vietnamese universities establish partnership

California State University of the US will partner with Duy Tan University in the central Da Nang city of Vietnam in training construction engineers and architects from this year.

Under a partnership agreement signed on April 7, California State University will train about 100 lecturers of the construction and architecture faculties of Duy Tan university, which is the largest private-owned in Vietnam’s central region.

In addition, it will send its lecturers to Duy Tan University undertake this partnership programme, which will enable the graduates to attain internationally-recognised certificates.

Since 2007, Duy Tan University has carried out training programmes with foreign partners on IT, business administration, accounting, finance, banking and tourism./.
